Transition to a PM career in 2024

I have designed this course based on my research with busy & ambitious professionals. Because you already have a lot on your plate on weekdays, this course takes place over a single weekend. Total time commitment for the workshop is 5-6 hours, though of course you can choose to spend more time with your peers in the community. Once the workshop is completed, you'll take away a personalized learning plan and 1 year access to the GapSquad library.

I encourage you to clear out your schedule during the 2 or so hours of the course on Saturday & Sunday. But if for some reason you cannot make it to a live session, you will have access to the recording in your GapSquad account. You will also have 1 year access to the course library.

Yes and no. The course will spend a lot of time on tactics to get, and succeed in interviews, and get hired. You will also have access to "PM Interview flash cards" (in development) and the opportunity to run mock interviews with members of the community. But to succeed, you have to be prepared to dedicate time and effort to do mock interviews, receive feedback, and improve. Please note that this is not a dedicated interviewing skills course.

The content for this course is catered especially to those with little to no PM experience & early career PMs. I do not recommend this course for senior PMs & leaders. I might offer a workshop later in 2024 catered to mid/senior PMs, so be on the lookout for that.

During this course, I particularly emphasize different learning styles & how to use that understanding to accelerate your competence & growth. So I have also designed this course to work for folks with different learning styles. This course includes a full fledged Discord community, and breakout sessions for group learning

Finding a great next job is really important for our career, in good times and bad. So we will focus on this topic extensively during the course. We'll cover closing skill gaps, optimizing your resume & LinkedIn profile, picking Tier 1 & 2 companies, securing & acing interviews as well as negotiating offers.

No. Raj coaches a few founders 1 on 1 because of time constraints. Raj will however host a moderated AMA after each session and the entire course is like getting career coaching from Raj. You will also have access to a community of talented peers who can also assist.

Yes, the two day workshop will be delivered live via interactive Zoom sessions.

After the 2 day workshop, you will be able to access the pre-recorded courses to complete your 1 year learning plan.

I have designed this course to work for very busy professionals. So there is no mandatory pre-work. That said, I will share an optional set of resources (mostly videos) you can check out, if you have some time prior to the course.
